Vinay Thakur

Mr. Vinay Thakur is presently working as Director (Projects), National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY). Shri Thakur has more than 20 years of experience in implementing IT and e-Governance Projects. Shri Thakur has done Bachelor of Engineering from Govt. Engineering College Jabalpur and Masters from Delhi College of Engineering in Computer Science / Shri Thakur has implemented many e-Governance projects comprising of Land Records Computerisation NREGA workflow, Mobile based Fertilizer Monitoring System, GIS platform etc. Shri Thakur has published around 30 papers on e-Governance, Land records and Social impacts of e-Governance projects and guided around 60 MCA / MTech / B.E. students.
