Sopan Joshi

Sopan Joshi is a reporter, writer, editor. Born 1973 to Usha and Prabhash Joshi in Indore, MP. Studied English literature at Delhi University. Began working in a newspaper in 1996. Mostly for magazines thereafter. Writes on science, the environment, politics, sports, agriculture, travel, and open-source technology. He writes in Hindi and English for several publications. Since 2011, he has worked as a Research Fellow at the Gandhi Peace Foundation in New Delhi. His first book, titled Jal Thal Mal, published in July 2016, is a social exploration in Hindi of the science of sanitation.
